Is there a website that reviews kitchen appliances?
particularly ranges and dishwashers? I know about refrigeratorpro.com and love it. I’m hoping to find something similar. thanks
Well, the ultimate site for reviews would be consumer reports.org Unfortunately, you have to pay a subscription fee.
You can check out Biz Rate.com. I included the link below…Good Luck!
Amazon.com
Customers frequently leave comments on their experiences with items they’ve purchased..
I work for Sears and do a lot of trouble shooting over the phone. I’ve been with them for over a year now and have yet to have anyone call in about any serious problems with Kenmore Pro. As the first answerers stated, Whirlpool and Frigidaire are manufacturers of Kenmore appliances. However, Kenmore Pro is manufactured by Electrolux which is the parent company of Frigidaire. Here is a lift of the highest rated Kenmore Pro appliances from our site:

I like reading the customer reviews at amazon.com
From my own experience, Sears promises a warranty that is unreasonable and does not follow through. They told me I could, “take a hammer and break out all of the glass shelves and a serviceman will happily show up and replace them”. I paid a lot for that reassurance.
One door ‘basket’ cracked. It took several weeks for a service guy to come out. He told me that I would have to pay for his service call and for the new door basket, if I wanted him to order one.
He said that they weren’t meant to have gallon milk jugs stored in them. There were two empty milk jugs in the demonstration model at the store; it was a big selling point.
Don’t trust Sears.
Your husband probably doesn’t want to have to bend way down and dig in a drawer for ice cream. The bottom drawer can become much like the abyss of a chest freezer. You might never know what’s in the bottom after a while, and it becomes a bi-annual project cleaning out the freezer-burned stuff you spent good money on and throwing it all away to start over.
I have a side-by-side with ice and and water in the kitchen, a top-bottom freezer-fridge in the family room, and a chest freezer in the garage.
What do resent the most?
I resent the small bottom drawer of the side-by-side and the chest freezer. I lose things there.
Do you want the ‘prestige’ of an obviously expensive fridge, or the convenience of seeing everything the second you open the door?
I have the cheap-o top-bottom fridge for ‘extras’. I can put huge cakes, deli and veg. platters for school functions, the roast still in the big roasting pan when I’m too tired to transfer it, beverages (incl. two liter bottles), and giant pickle jars and other bulk items in there. In the upper freezer part, I keep frozen meats and veg., extra butter, flour, and frozen doughs, and other ‘ingredients’ that the family leaves alone.
My kitchen side-by-side stays tidy with fresh munchies and frozen and/or microwavable goodies.
You’re most likely choosing everything in your new kitchen. Why not let your husband have his frozen treats at eye-level?
Can anyone tell me where I can find out the best kitchen appliance brands and product reviews (but not Choice)
I would like to find accurate info as I am doing a reno and need to buy a lot of large appliances, incl gas stove, oven, rangehood, side by side fridge, dishwasher etc. Reader feedback on best appliances they have/problem brands or models would be appreciated. Thanks!
I am getting new kitchen appliances, what brand would you recommend avoiding?
I have reviewed consumer reports, but the brands they recommend do not get good customer reviews when I look at various websites. Also would you recommend a french door style refridge- I want it husband does not like it, he wants a side by side.
I am getting new appliances for the kitchen. I was thinking about Kenmore Pro, but the reviews on the web site?
are not very good. Does any one have this line and is it as bad the reviews make it out to be?
What’s the best FREE website to review kitchen appliances?
