Another site is ajmadison.com and lowes.com which also have reviews from customers. Consumers Reports web site is helpful although you need to be a member before entering the comparison sites. Also, if you go to a particular product site, such as KitchenAid or Bosch for instance, you can do comparison shopping with the different models as well. You may want to do stainless steel with black trim or black with stainless steel trim. All stainless steel appliances gives the kitchen a coldness affect. By adding black in your color scheme it will actually compliment the stainless steel appliances and give it an elegant look. There are sales going on now and until the end of the year for appliances; Sears always seems to have some type of special each month depending on what name brand you want. Do your homework before buying; it is amazing what type of features you can get from one model to another. Bottom line; know what type of features you want, compare the brands you like, be sure you’ll get good customer service if repairs are needed and go from there. Some stores have a price break if you buy two or more appliances at a time also.

Complete kitchen appliance package?
Where could I find complete kitchen appliance packages? I heard from a friend you can save alot of money buying all the appliances in one big matching package… Where could I look for something like this?
Decide what brand and models you want. Do this by researching pro’s and cons’ and needs. Heres a link for that, many other sites out there also. http://appliancehelponline.com/reviews.html Then compare online prices. You should be able to find one complete line of appliances ie; KitchenAid “arichitec series”. Go to your local retailers and look and they should be able to match prices. They might not have the same exact model #’s that’s where it gets a bit tricky. Compare delivery, removal, and installation prices. Check at least 3 local retailers. Bring copies of your internet pricing when your ready to negotiate pricing. I’m sure you will be able to match your lowest internet price.
I hate when this comes up. Its such an easy fix and they are just being lazy. There are several ways to handle this involving withholding or escrowing rent until the problem is fixed, but you always run the risk of them reporting this on your credit.
One, kinda hardball, approach is to pay the rent then take them to small claims court to get the rent back. If this ever got to court you would say they are not upholding their half of the lease so you want your rent back. The thing is, this is such an easy fix that they almost certainly would just get the thing fixed rather than go thru the embarressment of going to court. Thus you are really filing the suit with no intention of ever going to court (though you could if you had to). The downside to this is it could make them so annoyed that it comes back to get you somehow in the future but they are so proving to be so lame a management company already that maybe this isn’t a big deal.
By the way, if you go the court route make sure they fix the problem and pay the court filing fee (like $20). Tell them they must pay this if they want you to withdraw the suit.
Will over the stove microwave work in a very small kitchen?
The cabinet is 69 inches from the floor. But it is only 12 inches deep! The microwave I bought is 15 inches deep. Will this matter? And will I have enough clearance from the top of the stove? Very concerned, the installers will be here soon. Microwave came with a package deal with all new stainless steel appliances. Very small kitchen and could use the extra space that the over the stove microwave will give me the extra room.
Sounds like the same set up I have in my kitchen. Just made some quick measurements to verify. Have 69 inch high upper cabinets and a microwave above the stove. It works fine. Plenty of room for all the cooking I’ve done over the 4 months I’ve lived here. Also the upper cabinets are 12 inches deep and the microwave is about 15 inches deep. It looks fine.
My apartment complex refuses to fix or replace my microwave that is included with the appliance package.?
Its going on 3 months and they just keep saying that they will call me back. It is an inconvenience because it is built in and there is no space in the kitchen for me to add my own. What can I do?

Who is eligible for Boscov’s VIP sales?
Do you have to have a credit card or is it for anyone? My mom wants to buy a kitchen appliance package deal and Boscov’s has one but says VIP sale. Anyone know anything about this? We don’t have a Boscov’s credit card either. Thanks.
